Remote Support

In an effort to increase our level of customer service, we have recently invested in a remote support tool called Team Viewer. This tool allows us to support any client anywhere provided they have an internet connection, even from behind a fire wall.

Using the tool, you can gain control of the client’s PC and while working on their PC they can also see what you are doing. If required, you can also switch control so that the client can see your desktop and gain control of your PC.  

Alternatively, you can use the presentation option whereby the client can see
your desktop but cannot do any actions on your desktop.

The application downloaded is called Trew Solutions Quick Support.
When running, the user will be presented with an ID and the status message
“Ready to Connect”. The support consultant enters this ID in their version of
team viewer to connect to the client.
When prompted for a password, enter < Supplied Password >.
