The Trew Solutions Utility Module for Pastel Evolution provides a system administrator with useful tools for making updates to documents and master files that are not directly available through Evolution and which normally require the administrator to use database tools to make.
- Change the sales representative, external order number or line note on Sales Orders, Invoices and Jobs
- Change Project Code on Invoices, Credit Notes, GRVs, RTSs, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Cash Book Batches, Journal Batches and Job Cards
- Change Supplier code on Purchase Order
- Change Sales / COS Account on various document types.
- Change the account type of an existing GL Account
- Turn Lot Tracking on or off for an existing Inventory Item
- Merge multiple inventory items into a single inventory item
- Change master file codes including: Customer & Supplier Account Codes, Inventory Item Codes and General Ledger Account Codes
- Change Asset Codes for existing Fixed Assets
- Change Dates on Invoices, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger Transactions
- All documents can be filtered by date range to easily find the document to be edited
Foreign Currency Revaluation
The Foreign Currency Revaluation option allows the user to revalue the unpaid amounts on foreign currency debtors and creditors as per the current exchange rate. The valuation of the local currency equivalent of the foreign currency outstanding amount is updated according to the current prevailing exchange rate and the necessary journal entries between the control account(s) and Gain/Loss on Foreign Currency account(s) are made keeping the system in balance. You can revalue by Customer/Supplier or by Transaction. Foreign bank Accounts can also be revalued

The Trew Solutions Utility Module for Pastel Evolution is available for download and can be installed in a test environment for testing and evaluation purposes. Once installed you will need to contact us for a demonstration license key.
The latest version supports Pastel Evolution V6.60.65
Note! The Pastel Evolution Software Development Kit (SDK) Client Connector is required to run the Utility Module. The SDK Connector is required to be registered as part of your Evolution license. Please contact us or your Pastel Evolution business partner if you require the SDK.
